After graduating from college, I worked at a large polysilicon company, focusing on the technical aspects of distilling and purifying trichlorosilane – I’ve been there for about three years. The photovoltaic industry is currently in a poor state, so I resigned recently and want to change careers. I would like to ask the experts: is distillation and purification useful in the coal chemical industry? I earnestly hope that all the experts here can offer some guidance to me; I would be extremely grateful. I will definitely give positive ratings (although my permissions are quite limited). . . )
Actually, the job market in the chemical industry has been pretty good in recent years; salaries are already quite high. In particular, coal chemistry is very popular these days! ! !
Looking forward to the guidance from all the seniors! I sincerely hope that everyone can give me some advice. Thank you!
Current coal chemical processing mainly involves hydrogenation and distillation for purification. This is where you can truly make a difference
Hydrogenation processes are easier to find; look into distillation processes instead. The Inner Mongolia State Power polysilicon project is quite good – go and take a look at it. There’s no need to change industry; the two people who worked on methanol distillation there have left, so it would be more suitable for you to go there
Coal liquefaction is a good option for you; you might want to take a look.
Reply to 6# lzm221: I know very little about coal chemical industry. Could you please explain what coal liquefaction actually is? Could you give a brief introduction, please? Thank you!
Reply to 5# lizhaoye, thank you
Reply to 4# Panda1024: Could you recommend some projects in Inner Mongolia, Hebei, and the Northeast? Thank you
Reply to 9# polysilicon521: I am involved in the hydrogenation of crude benzene from coking processes. This industry is developing well in Inner Mongolia and Hebei; for example, Mengxi Energy has a 100,000-ton benzene hydrogenation plant in Wuhai, Xuyang in Hebei has a 200,000-ton benzene hydrogenation plant in Xingtai, another plant of the same scale exists in Tangshan, as does one operated by Kailuan, while Baoshun in Tangshan has a 100,000-ton benzene hydrogenation plant
