It’s the effect of carbon dioxide in the air! So test it right after sampling! It also needs to be airtight
The impact of carbon dioxide in the air on the pH value of pure water is not supposed to be that significant; it’s likely a problem with the pH meter you are using to measure the pH. To measure the pH of pure water, a specialized probe is required – ordinary probes will not work.
