Can the C202 hydrogen booster achieve energy savings by reducing the load? Note: By using a turbine with a pressure of 3.5 MPa, reducing the load can significantly decrease steam consumption. Could such a reduction in load cause irreversible damage to the unit? What are the potential dangers?
The rotation speed should not be lower than the turbine’s minimum speed
It can reduce the requirements for the supercharger! But it’s not good for the intake valve! There will be a lag if not in use for a long time! For example, re-contact pressure fluctuations can occur with the reverse boost pump! The load cannot be reduced too much! Based on the pressure in the high-pressure tank in contact! If the load on the booster drops too low, it will cause the pressure in the high-pressure tank to rise excessively, with no margin for buffer, which can easily lead to abnormal shutdown of the regeneration process!
1. The speed of your turbine can be reduced, but as long as it remains above the lowest adjustable speed, there will be no problem. 2. Ensure that the high-pressure conditions for reformation and the recontact pressure remain stable; this will prevent any issues during regeneration.
