How can we control the areas in the Klaus sulfur recovery system that are prone to clogging? What should be the temperature for steam heating? Does anyone know at what temperature the pipes will get clogged?
Typically, the areas where blockages occur in sulfur recovery units are those located in the jackets, and the heating steam is usually at 0.3 MPa (with a temperature of around 140°C).
Insulating with a steam jacket can help control it； Steam temperature 135~140℃ ； 120°C is the freezing point of sulfur; if production takes place below this temperature, blockages occur.
