French AXENS can do it, and it is currently widely used by CNPC. Their price should be lower than that of S-Zorb from Sinopec.
The desulfurization level for National IV gasoline should be 50 ppm. Note that this applies to regular gasoline; there’s no need to reduce the desulfurization level to 50 ppm in catalyzed gasoline – 70 ppm or even higher is acceptable. By adjusting the levels of reformed gasoline, MTBE, pentane oil, etc., it’s entirely possible to achieve a desulfurization level of 50 ppm. As for technology, Sinopec’s RSDS, OCT-M, and the imported S-ZORB ; CNPC: DSO, GARDES, introduction of Prime-G+. The challenge in this round of upgrades is not National Standard IV itself, but rather the gap between National Standard IV and National Standard V, combined with the tight funding constraints for investment and construction in our country.
