Which day would be a good day to go to work?

I have decided to change jobs on January 16, 2012 (this is the date of my departure), and this date is close to the New Year’s holiday. Is it better to start working at the new company after the holiday or on January 17? Please help analyze it
Go after the New Year; since everything has already been settled, what does it matter if it’s a little later?
Sure, one would get the money from their current employer before leaving, I wonder what day the salary is paid at the new company, haha!
This also needs to be analyzed by someone else, young man!
If you have a job, go after the New Year! If you go these days, I personally think you’re just going through the motions. But you can tell your new company that these days don’t count as paid time off, and go and have a look/learn whatever you want!
Find an imperial calendar and check which day is auspicious for going.
Go after the New Year’s holiday; have a great time to relax, and then set out with a lighter load.
