2011 Year-End Summary – I changed jobs; I’ll do better!

At the end of 2011, like many professionals, I changed jobs. I moved from Gansu in the northwest to Fujian where I am now. My previous employer was a central state-owned enterprise that offered good benefits, but as an outsider, I didn’t have enough resources to compete with the local employees. So when I felt I had learned enough, I decided to take a chance and change jobs. Still, I continued to work in the chemical industry. I thought it would be a shame to waste my expertise; I didn’t believe there were no prospects in this field – on the contrary, I thought I could do well there! I’m getting closer to home, my mindset is more stable, and everything is moving in a positive direction!
