There are many people in the coking industry on this forum, and there are also numerous moderators in other sections who come from the coking industry – those involved in coal preparation, coking, and dry quenching of coke. Yet so few of these professionals visit the coking-related discussion areas, which is actually a loss for the industry. This indicates that there are some issues with our section: first, there are few posts that can motivate SeaUsers to participate, so people aren’t very interested in them ； Secondly, some posts receive no replies at all, which dampens people’s enthusiasm to participate ； Third, there are issues with our moderator management; they fail to organize proper events or manage the forum in a timely and effective manner ； Fourthly, coking may involve many different specialized categories, and different people may focus on different aspects. There are tasks such as coal preparation, coking, dry quenching of coke, gas purification, further processing of tar, further processing of benzene, benzene hydrogenation, and the refinement of tar by-products – among many others; it’s possible that people only know about some of these aspects ； Fifth, the rewards given to those who participate are relatively small, failing to reflect the effort they put in to help others after thinking things through ； Sixth, some people post in an irregular manner, failing to clearly describe their problems or neglecting to check their posts after posting them. The issues mentioned above are just a small part of them; there are other problems as well. We hope that all users will actively offer their suggestions for improvement, so as to resolve problems together to the greatest extent possible, raise the technical standards of the industry, make good use of the Haichuan platform, and provide better services for all users. Certain rewards will be given for meaningful posts to encourage more participation.

My suggestion is that more encouragement should be given for information sharing. Or we could create our own database and offer paid downloads, so that those who participate more in discussions can download materials in exchange for payment.
The topic of the post is very narrow and specialized, which often results in few replies. Specialized topics also include some theoretical aspects, and there are quite a few people who enjoy discussing these posts. After all, coal coking is a large industry, and those working in it may not be very familiar with many small details. There’s no need to understand it either, so the replies will be few

It is possible to try organizing things by category, dividing them daily into coal and coke, chemical products, deep processing, etc., or even further subdividing them; however, this would require many topics to be addressed. Since each moderator has their own focus areas, some form of coordination is needed, either through a central coordinator or through voluntary cooperation among the moderators, which makes the process somewhat difficult. It is also possible to try to gather everyone’s suggestions; more encouragement is needed to get people to speak up more. It can be tried out, but carrying it out continuously is somewhat difficult at present. Let’s take this as the direction for our efforts next. I need to organize the scoring method better; whenever I try to rate someone who has helped me, it keeps saying “Your request format is incorrect; it cannot be submitted.” Recently, I think I’ve posted quite a few valuable posts, and it was the real moderator (Aixue*) who rated them, giving me pretty high scores. But the original poster or other people basically didn’t rate my posts at all – is it because they can’t submit ratings either? Posting messages to help others solve their problems without receiving any points – is this also a factor that undermines motivation?
When posting, there are many things that cannot be written down; for example, the square of 3 is shown as 32 instead of 9. The same goes for calculus and other concepts. If such information is uploaded in attachment form, readers still have to pay a fee to view it. But if they do have to pay a fee, it’s still worth it for one’s own use； It would be unfair if it didn’t work; can it be changed? Just like in Word, you can write whatever you want?
Coal coking involves a wide range of processes, which can be further divided into coal washing, coal blending, coking, and purification and recovery; it would be best to have a more detailed breakdown.
A difficult problem is usually raised by the original poster, and others help that person solve it. Once the problem is resolved, it is the moderators who receive points – why doesn’t the original poster give points to those who helped them? Once, two people answered my question; I gave points only to one of them. The other person replied by saying it wasn’t fair and suggested I use another forum……
