The heating rate is related to the refractory materials: during the first start-up, it is necessary to dry the refractory materials, and a constant temperature must be maintained. The technical manual specifies that the temperature should be maintained at 120 degrees, 350 degrees, and 500 degrees. The heating rate is generally required not to exceed 10 degrees. For normal driving, according to the manual, a heating rate of around 10 degrees is required. However, given the inherent properties of refractory materials, heating at a rate of 30 degrees will not cause any problems. As a reminder, no problems will occur during heating, but be sure to pay attention to the cooling rate when stopping the machine. If a brick + castable structure is used, the cooling rate must be carefully controlled, as this can lead to the bricks coming loose.
