“The phrase “curve home” appears frequently among those buying tickets. It is said that for some routes where tickets are hard to come by, connecting trains with each other or trains with planes can also provide affordable ways to get home. To travel from Beijing to Kunming, a white-collar worker decided to take a route that passed through Bangkok first, before continuing on to home; the total cost was the same as that of a direct flight, and it was possible to secure tickets for both segments of the journey. These days, a case like this of returning home along such a curve has become a topic of conversation for many foreigners.
I’ve tried to buy tickets for several days now without success; taking a detour might be a good option.

I’m just worried that later on, the flight with which I need to make a connection might depart first, and that would be a huge loss. There’s also the issue of visas
