How to adjust the oil?

I’ve seen many private oil tanks; some use air pipes to introduce air into the tank for mixing the oil, some are equipped with mixing pumps on their walls, some use pumps to draw oil from the bottom and return it from the top, and others use mixers. Which method is the most convenient and cost-effective? (The prerequisite for safety: The oil I’m using now has a high-component viscosity of 1000 at 100 degrees Celsius, while the low-component viscosity is the same as that of diesel at room temperature!)
