In air separation production, one of the essential and crucial tasks is inspection. What does the inspection of the compression area entail? What’s the difference between summer and winter? Please share your opinions.
We use steam turbines to drive the air compressors and pressure boosters; during inspections, we focus on the oil system and water delivery system, as well as the flange connections of the pipes. Everything else can be checked from the control room!
Typical inspection contents include； Look, check whether there are any leaks from the pipe flanges and similar components, and verify that the pressure and temperature readings at the site are normal. Listen, see if there are any unusual noises. Feel it – check whether the machine body and the motor vibration are normal. Smell and check if there is a burnt smell at the scene.
