The head is formed by spinning a 14mm thick plate, with dimensions of EHA2200*14; the cylinder is made by rolling a 12mm thick plate, giving it an outer diameter of 2224*12. When joining them together, should the inner sides be even, or should the outer sides be even? If cutting is done based on the perimeter of the head, does that ensure that the outer sides are even?
The inner diameter is currently 2200, so it will definitely be flat on the inside once it’s made~
If you are using an elliptical head that meets domestic standards, then it is based on the inner diameter! ! So, the inner diameter must be used as the reference! !

To add, thinning is performed only when the thickness difference is greater than 2 MM. . .
The internal reinforcement is properly in place, and after grooving and welding on the outside, it has little impact on the appearance.
If the difference is 2 mm, there is no need to trim the outer wall, and the appearance will not look bad even after the weld is completed. Moreover, as long as you make it clear to the inspector that the inner surface is flush, the inspector will approve it. Don’t worry~
