Our unit is equipped with a single-stage cantilever centrifugal oil pump; two sets of angular contact ball bearings are used on the side of the bearing housing that is close to the motor, while one set of deep groove ball bearings is used on the side close to the impeller. How are these two sets of angular contact ball bearings typically matched together? Face to face, back to back, or in series?
Back-to-back installation yields better results than face-to-face installation

Roller bearings are expensive; deep groove ball bearings are much cheaper
