Notice on Issues Concerning the Passing Standards for the 2011 Qualification Examination for Registered Engineers in Surveying and Design. Publication date: February 21, 2012. Views: 1,983. To the Departments (Bureaus) of Human Resources and Social Security, as well as the Departments of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (Construction Commissions, Planning Commissions) of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and to the Civil Servants’ Bureau of Fujian Province: Based on the statistical analysis of the results of the 2011 Qualification Examination for Registered Engineers in Surveying and Design, the relevant issues regarding the passing standards are hereby notified as follows: 1. The passing standard for the basic examinations in each specialty is 132 points (with a full score for the exam paper being 240 points). II. Professional Exams (1) The passing score for the professional exams for registered structural engineers (both Level 1 and Level 2) is 48 points (with a full score of 80 points for the exam paper). (II) The passing standards for the professional examinations of registered engineers (excluding Level 1 and Level 2 registered structural engineers) are shown in the table below: Sequence Number, Name, Professional Examination, Professional Knowledge, Professional Cases, Passing Standards, Full Score of the Exam Paper, Passing Standards, Full Score of the Exam Paper. 1. Registered Civil Engineering Engineer – HVAC: 120 points; full score is 200 points, with a passing standard of 60 points. Water supply and drainage: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. Power engineering: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. 2. Registered Electrical Engineering Engineer – Power transmission and transformation: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. Power supply and distribution: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. 3. Registered Chemical Engineering Engineer: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. 4. Registered Environmental Protection Engineer: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. 5. Registered Civil Engineering Engineer – Geotechnics: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. Ports and waterways: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. Water resources and hydropower engineering – Planning for water resources and hydropower projects: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. Hydraulic structures: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. Geology of water resources and hydropower projects: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. Resettlement related to water resources and hydropower projects: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. Soil and water conservation in water resources and hydropower projects: 120 points, passing standard of 60 points. III. All local authorities are requested to review the scores of candidates according to the above passing standards, and verify the relevant data with the Personnel Examination Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Once everything is confirmed to be correct, the information should be filled in as required in the attached form and submitted to the Department for the Management of Professional and Technical Personnel of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security by March 1st. The data submitted will serve as the basis for issuing the professional qualification certificates. IV. In accordance with the provisions of the relevant documents, please announce the passing standards for the exam to the public in a timely manner, and expedite all post-exam tasks such as the issuance of qualification certificates.
