It is of utmost importance to ensure the safe and normal operation of chemical processing facilities. Especially towards the end of the year, people tend to relax, and their safety awareness declines. How can we maintain safe and normal operations during such special times? Please discuss this matter.
I am in charge of production, and especially during holidays, I’m very worried that people’s attitudes might change, which could lead to production accidents. I wonder if anyone has any experience in this regard; please feel free to share it. Thank you
Take measures to soothe everyone’s emotions, communicate actively with employees; especially for those whose families are in other places, flexible arrangements should be made to allow them to reunite with their families!
It is most important for managers not to relax. If leaders can maintain their usual management approach and keep visiting the site regularly, ordinary workers will not be too slack
Communicate more with employees, ask about their difficulties at home, think of solutions for them, be more considerate of them, and work together with them.
Employees are encouraged to stay for the final shift of the year, to put in a bit more effort themselves, and to carefully check every aspect of their work.
Our management philosophy for on-site production: We usually work during festivals, and during the day we work at night.
