Hello everyone, what are the protections for motors? ? How is the current set on a thermal relay? ? Should it be based on the power of the motor or its rated current? ? Is the set size twice the rated power? What is the difference between thermal relay protection and current protection? ? What device is being used? ? For example, my current small motor has a power rating of 300W; based on past experience, the current protection value should be set at 0.6A, right? ? But the power of the motor when it is operating normally already reaches 0.85A; this type of thermal relay is being used. In short, I want to know how to set the current for the motor – does it trip as soon as the current reaches the value I set? ?
