The frequency converters used in our factory are all located in the power distribution room. In our understanding, a frequency converter is an electrical device; it is closely connected to electrical circuits and requires various functions such as interlocks and communication. Moreover, large-scale frequency converters have explosion-proof and waterproof properties, and they can generate significant electromagnetic interference, thus becoming sources of disturbance at the site. The main reason is that large-scale frequency converters are bulky, which makes it inconvenient to install them on-site; therefore, they are installed inside power distribution cabinets.
