The catalytic unit suffered tube rupture in the excess steam superheater due to neglect of water quality control. May I ask who has the parameters for water quality and steam control, as well as the specific methods for controlling them? What are the hazards that arise when these parameters are exceeded? Which areas are most susceptible to being affected and what problems might occur? It would be helpful if there were specific examples. Please help a lot. Thank you!

However, the feed water for these heat recovery boilers is often supplied directly from the desalination pipelines within the plant. Since boilers operating at different pressures have varying requirements regarding water quality, the quality of the desalinated water in the owner’s facility may fluctuate or remain poor, which can affect the proper operation of the waste heat recovery boilers. The key quality parameters for boiler feedwater include: pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, total hardness, sodium, silicon, iron, copper, deaerator agents (hydrazine), and total organic carbon (TOC). The specific values for these parameters depend on the pressure rating of your boiler; there are national standards as well as industry-specific standards in place for this. For boiler water, there are also requirements regarding water quality. Additionally, since water treatment chemicals such as scale inhibitors are added, it is necessary to monitor the water quality and pay attention to waste discharge. The testing parameters include: pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate, sodium, silicon, total hardness, and total alkalinity.
