Material of the reinforcement ring

This post was last edited by hgm on 2012-2-3 at 19:32. The shell is made of composite panels, while the pipes are made of pure stainless steel. What material is suitable for the reinforcement rings? Is it necessary to consider the issue of welding different types of steel?
The material of the reinforcement ring should be the same as that of the housing. At the weld between the pipe fitting and the reinforcement ring, a gasket of the same material should be welded first before welding to the reinforcement plate.
The material of the reinforcement ring is the same as that of the carbon steel casing. The joint between the takeover and the carbon steel shell, as well as the reinforcement ring, is a weld between dissimilar steels, for which appropriate transition layer welding materials are used.
