When creating cable schedules, does it require measuring the length of each cable individually? It seems that as the number of points increases, the amount of work needed for measurement on the diagram becomes quite large. I was wondering if there are any simpler methods available.
I’m not sure how others do it; anyway, that’s what we did at the time. The length requirement isn’t very strict; try to calculate a higher value to avoid running short later.
Has the actual number of cables required been calculated with due consideration for the conditions at the construction site? The horizontal distances on the drawings are easy to see, while vertical distances are often overlooked.
