:What is the relationship between handshakeCV and the diameter size? Once CV is known, how can the diameter size be determined next? What data needs to be obtained in the end to consider it complete?
Check the manufacturer’s selection guide; it contains a table showing CV values along with the valve diameter and valve core specifications. That should be enough, but generally, it’s the manufacturer who does the calculations! The CV I calculated myself isn’t accurate, right? Each company has its own standards, and the algorithms used are different!
This should be the job of a design institute; find a design institute or equipment manufacturer, as they have professionals who can handle these calculations
Regarding the calculation of the CV value: you can use the formulas provided in textbooks to carry out the calculation and round up; the key is to choose the appropriate formula based on the given conditions! The Cv value of a valve: it is commonly referred to as Cv abroad, while in China it is usually called Kv (1 CV = 1.167 KV). Under normal conditions, the judgment is accurate and the calculation results are fairly precise; of course, different manufacturers may make adjustments. Then, you can simply choose based on the pipe diameter, along with the table provided by the manufacturer that shows the correspondence between CV and diameter!
