The pump originally selected cannot meet the process requirements; it is necessary to choose a gear pump again. The required operating conditions are as follows: viscosity of 280,000 CP, flow rate of 2 m3/h, head of 90 m, density of 975 KG/m3. The medium in question is silicone oil. Could everyone here help select a manufacturer and model for this pump? It would be great if approximate dimensions could also be provided. Thank you all
A Swiss Mag gear pump is definitely needed for this. External meshing pump.
Well, I’ve contacted some agents, and they also said that the viscosity is a bit high; it might be necessary to use a Mag pump. Do you know any specific models of Mag pumps that are suitable for this application?
