Insights from a newcomer to the workplace

It’s been almost half a year since I started working. Through what I’ve learned and seen during this time, the enthusiasm I had right after graduating from school has diminished, and in its place there’s a more pragmatic attitude, as well as a clearer understanding of reality and my own life path. I think that for a young person who has just started working, they should pay more attention to their career prospects – what they can learn in their current position, and how they can gain more experience to lay a solid foundation for their future development, rather than focusing on how much bonus they will receive today or next month. In order to gain greater wealth tomorrow, and to achieve higher positions and salaries in the future, as newcomers to the workplace, why not devote more effort to improving our own abilities? Perhaps during these six months, some people have not yet overcome the confusion and uncertainty that come with starting work, but we must clearly recognize that our social roles have undergone a fundamental change. Therefore, as newcomers to the workplace, we should quickly adapt our roles and comply with the rules of this larger societal community.
