The reason for the reverse temperature difference in the acid temperature at the inlet and outlet of the HRS boiler is that, after the main unit was shut down, the HRS acid pump continued to operate, maintaining a water circulation rate of 5 T/h in the HRS boiler. If anyone knows, please explain the reasons for the reverse temperature difference between the acid temperature at the inlet and outlet of HRS boilers.

If nothing has been overlooked, there is only one possibility: after the machine stops, the pressure in the HRS boiler drops, and at the same time the temperature of the acid also decreases. When the acid temperature reaches the same level as that of the feedwater, theoretically, the temperatures at the four points – the inlet and outlet on the acid side as well as those on the water side – should be identical. However, instruments usually have an error range of 0.5 to 1 degree, and under such conditions it is easy for a reverse temperature difference to occur (i.e., when the acid inlet temperature is higher than that of the water inlet, the acid outlet temperature will be higher than the acid inlet temperature).
It depends on the size of the deficit. Generally, the device locks at around 3°C. If it’s not a problem with the gauge, then it means there’s a leak in the boiler, and that’s serious. However, the probability of a boiler leak is low after all, so carefully check the instruments.
