The shutdown period is approximately 20 days; what temperature is appropriate to maintain for the bed temperature of the hydrorefining reactor? Some say 150°C is sufficient, while others say 40–50°C? What temperature is ideal? Why?
20 days of shutdown is already a considerable period of time; generally, a shutdown of more than 7 days in a hydrogenation process is considered a long-term shutdown. The reaction system needs to undergo hot hydrogen purging, hot nitrogen purging, and nitrogen purging, after which it should be cooled to below 60 degrees, with the system maintained under positive pressure. In my opinion, it’s better to handle the system carefully, as otherwise problems may arise
