After the Spring Festival, sulfuric acid production enterprises in Jiangsu region did not show much improvement; on the contrary, their performance was far worse than before. Almost all sulfuric acid production plants are shut down; Soop’s operation rate during the Spring Festival was less than 70%, and it has also been completely shut down for maintenance for about ten days since last week ; As for manufacturing enterprises in other regions, they stopped production before the Spring Festival, and to date there have been no reports of them resuming operations; it seems that the time when they will start working again will depend on the recovery of the market. Although Shuangshi has resumed normal operations, its production capacity appears to be insufficient. These various circumstances indicate that the situation for sulfuric acid manufacturers in Jiangsu province is not optimistic at present; otherwise, such widespread shutdowns would not occur.
Nevertheless, the production capacity of acid-making plants using smelting flue gas in the middle reaches of the river is likely to remain unaffected. Smelting acid is considered a “lethal” acid; as long as the main smelting processes are in operation, the acid production unit using smelting flue gas must be operational as part of the environmental protection measures.
Has the acid from Tongling, Anhui, started to be \"dumped\" again? Logically, it’s the peak season for fertilizer production now, so there’s a huge demand for acid!
Sulfuric acid production enterprises in Jiangsu that ceased operations around the Spring Festival have not yet resumed normal operations, resulting in a low overall sulfuric acid production volume in the region. However, due to the low operating rates in downstream industries such as chemicals and fertilizers, there is still a certain surplus of sulfuric acid at present. The actual transaction price of sulfuric acid in the Tongling area is around 360 yuan per ton. Affected by the price drop in Tongling in recent days, the price of sulfuric acid in Jiangsu has also started to fall; currently, the transaction price of sulfuric acid in Jiangsu is around 450 yuan per ton. With the decrease in the acid value in Tongling, the impact on the Jiangsu region has become even greater. Coupled with the continuous rise in sulfur prices, the sulfur-based acid production enterprises in Jiangsu are in a very difficult situation.
The first half of the year was tough; now we’re busy opening **, and no one has time to deal with these things. Hold on tight and persevere. . . . . . . .
Were both sessions resolved harmoniously? ? ? So sensitive?
The sulfuric acid production enterprises in Jiangsu are currently all operating at a loss; those with HRS systems suffer only minor losses, while those without such systems face larger losses – it depends on who can bear the losses.
As far as I know, the development of heavy industry in southern regions such as Fujian is relatively weak; to build factories there, it is first necessary to construct facilities for producing the raw materials used in sulfuric acid production. As far as I know, Fujian plans to launch sulfate production projects, but the capacity is limited, with most of these being raw material facilities owned by large chemical plants.
