Regarding welding qualification issues

The new Ministry of Energy welding standard NB/T47014 has been issued. I recently read again the \"Guidelines for Welding Procedure Qualification for Pressure Equipment\" and wondered whether welding procedure qualification is no longer required for type testing of tube sheet to tube welds (i.e., butt or plug welds). Just use a butt weld peak instead.
Today, my workplace organized a session to explain the new standards. I listened to it in a daze; I heard that for similar types of products, one version is usually sufficient, but only those with higher strength can replace those with lower strength. Anyway, I’m not trained in welding, haha:lol
In my personal opinion, it is not necessary to conduct type tests; instead, a qualified welding procedure qualification for the corresponding butt welds or fillet welds, along with an additional assessment (as required by Appendix D), can be used as a substitute. But it seems that this additional assessment is similar to the assessment criteria in the previous GB151. . .
I think there’s no need to do it; just use a butt weld instead
Agree with what was said on the 3rd floor! ! ! A qualified welding procedure qualification for the butt weld, along with an additional qualification, will suffice.
