For our reformation pre-hydrogenation process, the sampling is carried out every three months; the raw material quality is poor, and there are no distillation towers yet. What is the sulfur content in the light and heavy fractions when distillation towers are in use? How to handle it
Reforming pre-hydrogenation can be divided into pre-distillation and post-distillation. There are various reasons for high bed pressure differences: check whether there are issues with the feed pump and the circulation inlet filter, whether the raw material tank is properly dehydrated, whether there are problems with the installation of the distribution trays at the reactor inlet, whether the strength of the hydrogenation catalyst is sufficient, whether the plant is operating beyond its capacity, whether the impurities in the raw materials are within acceptable limits, and whether the dry point of the raw materials is appropriate
Previously, with straight-run naphtha, my unit required degassing every six months to a year; now, with hydrocracked naphtha, I can maintain stable pressure drops for up to three years. At present, if the raw material issue cannot be resolved, ways should be found to increase the scaling capacity of the equipment. My installation currently includes an additional reactor in front of the pre-hydrogenation reactor; this reactor can be removed while the system is in operation. A distribution tray has been added above this reactor, and its function is to hold scale, which requires the height of the cover on the distribution tray to be increased to 30 cm. Another measure is to improve the filtration precision of the raw material filters, raising it from 25um to 15um, and to increase the frequency of filter maintenance. It is best to supply the raw materials directly to avoid impurities forming during storage in tanks.
