160 degrees can be used as a reference; in general calculations, it is sufficient to consider that only latent heat is released. In reality, the steam condensate will be slightly subcooled, that is, its temperature will be below 160 degrees
The final temperature depends on the pressure behind your steam trap.
Generally, in such cases, the latent heat is taken into account while sensible heat is ignored; the temperature remains at 160 degrees. However, in actual production things are different – the temperature is a bit lower than the theoretical value
What was said on the 3rd floor is correct; it depends on the pressure. If there is atmospheric pressure behind the steam trap, the condensate at 160 degrees Celsius will vaporize again.
