Synthetic ammonia used to be synonymous with nitrogen fertilizers; nowadays, however, the downstream products and by-products of synthetic ammonia are becoming increasingly diverse. The emergence of new products and manufacturing processes is constantly changing people’s existing perceptions. Let’s discuss what the main products are in each of our factories
Let me talk about our main products: 10,000 tons of ammonium bicarbonate, 180,000 tons of urea, 30,000 tons of methanol (production has been halted recently), and 2,000 tons of sulfur
Urea and ammonium carbonate go without saying; in addition, products such as ammonium phosphate, ammonium sulfate, ethylamine, oxalic acid nitrate, and methylamine also need to be developed. Another project is nitro-based products, but the entry requirements and sales barriers for such products are quite high; it’s possible to conduct local research on this. Dimethyl oxalate and ethylene glycol can be produced jointly from CO and H2 in ammonia plants; both of these products have high added value, but there are still certain technical risks involved.
