The molecular sieve bed is sunken around the edges

Our company has multiple air separation units, which are equipped with molecular sieve adsorbers; it is common for the areas around these beds to sink, although the carbon dioxide level at the output of the molecular sieves remains normal.
The bottom sieve might be leaking; one can check by looking at the ground near the dirty nitrogen vent to see if there is any molecular sieve powder there.
We have also found that the main issue is that the screens around the perimeter and the wall of the cylinder cannot be sealed completely, which causes the molecular sieve and alumina to fall down along the walls of the cylinder
I agree with the views of the two people above; it is due to the sieve issue – during the regeneration of the molecular sieve, particles of molecular sieve or alumina can be seen at the pressure relief outlet. During the major shutdown, it is advisable to go in and level the bed layer to avoid multiple peaks.
