I have a project underway: the factory site needs to have an elevated flare tower, but there is no supply of fuel gas at the site; however, liquid hydrocarbons are available there. I would appreciate any suggestions you might have
A liquid hydrocarbon will do; just run a vapor line from the top of the tank to the flare, and connect it to the pilot light.
Using liquid hydrocarbons for ignition will suffice, but to reduce their consumption, it is recommended that the flare be equipped with an automatic ignition system; this way, there is no need to keep the flame burning continuously, as ignition occurs only when there is gas to be vented.
It’s impossible; how could there be none? There must be a gas pipeline network in the factory area.
Is it a chemical plant? How is it possible for a chemical plant to have no waste gas!
Is this in compliance with safety regulations? In the projects we work on, we have encountered situations where gas cylinders were used to supply fuel gas. In your case, if you don’t use a continuous flame but instead start the burner by releasing gas first, then you can use a gas cylinder.
Gases that need to be discharged through a flare cannot be used as fuel gas?
The previous set of torch gas recovery devices was much simpler, and it also provided benefits in terms of energy conservation and emission reduction
Release it directly to the flare through the pressure relief system of the liquefied gas tank area, controlling the flow rate to avoid waste
For the projects I’m working on currently, the fuel gas used is liquefied petroleum gas; however, the perpetual lights must be energy-efficient types, such as QQ1065423199
Is the fuel gas used by the poster for keeping a flame lit, or as gas for combustion?
