Hello everyone, I would like to ask which type of process pipeline in PTA production plants has the highest pressure, and what is that pressure level approximately. What determines this pressure rating? I think it’s probably the hydrogen pipeline that has the highest pressure, as the materials used in PTA plants include sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, PX, hydrogen, and LPG among others. It seems to be hydrogen, but I’m not entirely sure. Any senior who knows something about this could please give me some guidance; I would be extremely grateful!

For PTA, the grade is higher in the refining section; from the outlet of the high-speed pump to the reactor outlet, the grade remains high. In our plant, we use 304L material with a pressure rating of F (1500 lb). The reactor outlet section is made of Hastelloy, while the section before the hydrogen inlet has a pressure rating of 900 lb, and the section leading to the reactor has a pressure rating of 1500 lb
