Many polysilicon manufacturers are currently shut down or in the process of technological upgrades. Our company has adopted the cold hydrogenation process and is about to start trials. As someone who is new to this process, I would appreciate some valuable advice from those with more experience – safety comes first

It seems that there are quite a lot of processes for cold hydrogenation being used these days; which companies use these processes?
The process isn’t important; it’s up to the company’s management to decide what to use. This post is meant as valuable advice for new operators of cold hydrogenation units, and opinions should be shared based on this. Regardless of the process or industry, whenever working in a hazardous environment, safety must be prioritized, and process guidelines, operating procedures, and safety regulations must be strictly followed – these are what truly matter. Cold hydrogenation is indeed very dangerous; in my opinion, any abnormalities should be addressed as much as possible through the DCS system, and one should stay away from hazardous equipment as much as possible.
