The lining of the cylindrical heater in the refining unit has fallen off, and acidic water is flowing at the bottom of the furnace; please analyze the causes and propose solutions. This furnace had been modified earlier. In early 2012, acidic water was found flowing downward at the sight glass on the bottom of the heating furnace. It was modified in the fourth quarter of last year, mainly by changing natural ventilation to forced ventilation and replacing three burners with one burner.
The furnace wall temperature is too low, allowing flue gas to penetrate into the lining and causing condensation water to form on the furnace wall.
Could it be that the flue gas temperature is too low? The flue gas contains water, which then flows downward...
