Problems with cooler heat treatment

A cooler, with the tube side filled with NHD solution and the shell side containing ammonia (liquid ammonia on the inlet side and vaporized ammonia on the outlet side). Is heat treatment required for the shell side?
Of course, heating and cooling treatments are required:P
It seems that ammonia media pose a stress corrosion problem; you should check whether the material you are using is susceptible to stress corrosion in an ammonia environment. If so, heat treatment should be carried out.
