First exposure to Beijing Kunlun Tongtai’s McGS configuration software. When entering the device property settings and channel connection options, one can see the various data objects that have been configured, along with their corresponding channel types. For example, a certain signal related to the device’s operation corresponds to the channel I000.7. Now I want to change its corresponding channel to I000.1, but no matter how many times I click, I can’t find a way to make the change. Where should I make the changes?
You should change the variable names in I000.7 to those in I000.1, or enter new variable names in I000.1; correspondingly, adjust the signal variable connections in the interface to use the new variable names in I000.1. However, be sure that the wiring of the PLC is adjusted accordingly as well.
