During the coking process, a large amount of flue gas is generated as a result of the combustion of coke oven gas; many companies release this gas directly into the air, which not only wastes energy but also pollutes the environment. The waste heat boiler recovers the waste heat from flue gas at 280°C to produce steam at 0.8 MPa, which can be used for heating, cooling, power generation connected to the grid, and various other applications. Process: The flue gas at 230–280°C from the underground flue is drawn out, and through the waste heat boiler system, its temperature is reduced to around 160°C before it is discharged into the chimney via the boiler exhaust fan. The waste heat boiler is installed on the flue bypass line as an independent unit; its modification and use do not affect the operation of the coke oven. Core technologies: 1. Chinese Academy of Sciences – High-tech heat pipe technology for aerospace applications; 2. United States – Nickel-based brazed finned tube technology. Notable projects: Tangshan Dafeng Coking Plant: 700,000 tons of coke per year, with a steam production capacity of 8 t/h; 1.1 million tons of coke per year, with a steam production capacity of 12 t/h. Tangshan Dongfang Coking Plant: 1 million tons of coke per year, with a steam production capacity of 10 t/h. Jingdezhen Coking Plant: 600,000 tons of coke per year, with a steam production capacity of 8 t/h. Shanxi Guangda Coking Plant: 1.3 million tons of coke per year (under construction). Jizhong Energy Fengfeng Coking Plant: 1.2 million tons of coke per year (under construction)
It seems to be a relatively advanced technology, with unique advantages in terms of making use of the waste heat from flue gases!
Great project! Is there a plan? What is the quality of the steam (in kilograms? )
It can only produce low-pressure steam, and softened water is required.
