What flow rate does the rated flow rate of a centrifugal pump refer to? Does it refer to the flow rate at which the efficiency is highest on the performance curve of the centrifugal pump? What is its relationship with the maximum flow rate, minimum flow rate, and normal flow rate?
The rated flow rate is not the flow rate at which the efficiency on the performance curve is highest； The normal flow rate can be 90-100% of the rated flow rate ； The maximum flow rate can be greater than 100% of the rated flow rate, that is, the flow rate corresponding to the point on the flow-rate vs. head curve ； Once a pump is selected, its corresponding operating point can be found using the Q-H-N-efficiency curve.
