Problems with the signal wires of electric and pneumatic valves

There is currently a 4-wire electric control valve in use, with one set of signal wires and one set of 220V power wires. I want to replace it with a pneumatic control valve. Can the existing signal wires be connected directly to the new pneumatic valve?

The original power cable should first be powered off, and its ends should be wrapped with insulating tape to ensure safety; of course, it’s even better to remove the cable altogether!
If all the signals are 4–20mA standard signals, then there’s definitely no problem. It is best if your electric valve and the new pneumatic valve are at roughly the same height; in other words, the length of the signal cable needed to connect to the connector on the pneumatic valve’s actuator should be sufficient. It is best to remove the original power cable; if not, the power should be turned off and the cable covered with insulating tape. In case of need.
