How long does it take to analyze gold, and what instruments and reagents are required?
What type of gold are you analyzing, OP? Are it gold ingots, gold powder, or does it contain other impurities? What are the components involved?
Original poster, come to me for this matter. Please give me a sample first; I’ll decide on how to analyze it. Apart from the relatively high sample loss, my analysis method has no other drawbacks.
Is there a good quick method for gold powder contents ranging from 0.1 to 40 grams?
Those with experience in dealing with gold can estimate its purity by observing the flame intensity; nowadays, there are also specialized instruments for testing gold available for purchase
Is the poster trying to determine the gold content or the amount of impurities present? If it’s trace impurities, they can be dissolved and then analyzed using ICP
