What fire hazard category does the storage tank for heavy hydrocarbons (a mixture of C4, C5, C6, and a small amount of benzene) fall into? A or B? How to classify it?
According to GB50016, can’t this be found?
Generally Class A B. It specifically depends on the composition levels, which are determined by calculating the flash point.
According to Table 2 of the definitions in GB50160, liquefied C4 belongs to Class A! If you have a C4 content, it is recommended to classify it as Class A!
