This is for the initial nitrogen displacement, which can pressurize the regeneration system. When stopping gas flow in the low-temperature methanol wash and regenerating methanol, pressure can be applied to the water separation tower and the thermal regeneration tower. It’s built into the design.
What kind of craftsmanship do you have? From that design institute? Our N2 stripping takes place on the acidic gas pipeline after the H2S fractionator heat exchanger.
Does it also play a role in maintaining a slight positive pressure for thermal regeneration after long-term parking?
1. When the system fails, maintain a stable operating pressure in the regeneration tower to ensure effective regeneration. 2. Prevent negative pressure from occurring in the regeneration tower when the system is shut down, thereby avoiding damage to the equipment.
I’m not sure if the original poster has noticed, but there is a pressure-reducing valve installed on the nitrogen pipeline; it is used to maintain pressure by injecting nitrogen when the pressure in the thermal regeneration tower is low or even negative.
The hot zone is pressurized to maintain a positive pressure in the system during shutdowns, and pressure stability in the regeneration tower and acidic gas is ensured during normal operation
