What is the difference between project management and engineering management? Is it the same thing?
Project management encompasses project engineering management
Engineering management is a broad concept that refers to the mechanical and engineering departments in factories and mines, as well as the daily management of projects by personnel from construction commission departments. Project management, on the other hand, refers to the management of a specific project; it is temporary and limited in scope. Nowadays, project management often involves project management teams established temporarily for new projects, with not only the client involved but also supervision units. These teams are generally divided into departments such as procurement, engineering, design coordination, and control
The scope of engineering management is broader than that of project management
For a project, the concepts of these two nouns are similar, and it’s hard to distinguish between them

It’s all project management. Piping engineering is project management. Design is project management. Even listing driving as a separate item and then managing it is also project management.
