Our company’s COD level is below 850 mg/l, but it has been exceeding this limit recently; I’m not sure why. I would appreciate it if everyone could discuss this matter. The water used for coal slurry preparation comes from (low-pressure ash water and distillation residues), while the water used in deaerators comes from (raw water, converted condensate, and recycled low-pressure ash water). Could anyone tell me if the high COD level is mainly due to the quality of the coal? How should it be handled?
