The reform of the process depends on the requirements for chlorine purity downstream. I noticed that your downstream products require vaporized chlorine, that is, high-purity chlorine gas. If your downstream products can accept elemental chlorine, then it’s better to use elemental chlorine directly – why go the extra step of providing gaseous chlorine? It should be noted that the cost of liquefying and vaporizing chlorine is very high; the cost per ton increases by over 100 yuan. Your original process used a liquid chlorine storage tank as a buffer, so it should not have had a significant impact on production stability. If liquid chlorine is intended for internal use only, then a low inventory level of liquid chlorine should be maintained; the remaining inventory capacity can be used to mitigate the impact of shutdowns downstream, while adjusting the operating load of the electrolysis plants upstream. So, your modification needs to be determined based on your own requirements. There is no issue of being reasonable or unreasonable regarding these two processes.
