Working in a chemical plant, one needs a stronger foundation to get promoted; will having a title recognized by society as a chemical engineer be helpful to one?
It depends on the type of company you work for; generally, chemical plants do not handle design work themselves, as such tasks are entrusted to design firms. Having a certified chemical engineering degree isn’t very useful in this context. To get promoted in a factory, apart from technical skills, management and coordination abilities are also important
