I’ve just started reviewing the specialized courses again. I encountered a small problem and don’t know how to solve it, so I would like to ask the more experienced colleagues for advice: 1. In heat balance calculations, integral solubility heat and differential solubility heat come into play, but the reference manuals on inorganic material properties only cover integral solubility heat. In several example problems, one has to look up the differential solubility heat by oneself. In which book can I find this data? Will there really be such basic data calculation questions in the actual exam? 2. In the handbook on inorganic properties, there is information on the heat of solution of ammonia in ammonia solutions with different degrees of carbonation; what does this term \"degree of carbonation\" refer to? 3. Since it is not possible to use a large amount of solvent in the actual absorption process, when calculating the heat of solution for actual absorption, should the integral heat of solution or the differential heat of solution be used? The integral heat of solution is the heat generated when 1 mol of solute dissolves in N moles of solvent, while the differential heat of solution is the heat generated when 1 mol of solute dissolves in an infinite amount of solvent. The two definitions are clearly different, and the appropriate one should be chosen based on the requirements of the problem. As for the exam questions, if they are included, basic data will be provided to you; generally, you won’t need to look up the data on your own.
