Can galvanized pipes be welded? For single-use water, DN40, with a pressure of around 0.2 Mpa.
Welding is no problem, but after welding, the galvanized coating gets damaged; it’s better to use threaded connections for installation

It seems that if welding is indeed necessary, it’s best to weld the flanges first; after that, apply rust-proof paint to both the inside and outside of the welds before connecting the flanges
Galvanized pipes are rarely welded. The post-welding treatment is very troublesome. But it can be welded; the methods mentioned by the guys upstairs are all solutions from production practice.
